I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine was pretty great, and spending all that much-needed time with my family reminded me of some pictures I took of my mom this summer. It all started when she needed a business head shot and asked me if I would take one for her. Now…as my friends can probably attest, this was a dangerous idea. I have been known to try to coerce basically everyone I know into modeling for me at one point or another. Needless to say, I basically bullied my mother into an hour long portrait session. Here are some of the results.
Did I mention that my mother is gorgeous? For real. Just look at how stunning she is.
And no portraits would be complete without some forlorn gazing out a barn window.
I think by the end she may even have been enjoying herself a little…
But thank you, Mom for allowing your daughter to follow you around with her camera for a little while. I hope when you look at these pictures you see yourself the way I see you. You are beautiful, kind, funny, smart, and so many other things, and I hope I can be half as amazing as you are one day.
